Artisan Partner Registration Dossier

4.1 Fair Trade Payout (80% / 20%): The artisan partner receives 80% of the customer retail price for each sold product. ELART retains a transparent 20% platform commission which covers escrow buyer protection, card gateway fees (OnePay / LankaPay MPGS), customer service, marketing, platform hosting, and dedicated logistics coordination. No registration or monthly store fees apply.

4.2 100% Sri Lankan Handcrafted Guarantee: All items listed under the artisan’s store must be genuinely made in Sri Lanka using traditional or artisanal techniques. Machine-printed replicas, factory mass-produced items, or imported synthetic counterfeits are strictly prohibited and subject to immediate delisting and account termination.

4.3 Packaging & Courier Readiness SLA: Upon receiving order notification via SMS and Email, the artisan commits to packaging the item securely with adequate protective padding (corrugated wrap, cushioning) to prevent transit damage, and have the parcel ready for courier collection within 1 to 3 business days.

4.4 Automated Remittance Payouts & Escrow Guarantee: Earnings are credited directly to the artisan’s bank coordinates provided in Section 3 on a regular bi-weekly schedule (1st and 15th of each calendar month) or within 48 hours following confirmed doorstep delivery by SL Post Speed Post / Islandwide Courier.

4.5 Transit Damage & Artisan Protection: ELART protects artisans from fraudulent chargebacks and malicious claims. Under ELART's 100% Transit Guarantee, breakages caused by courier negligence are reimbursed or replaced under platform escrow without penalizing the maker.

4.6 Artisan Intellectual Property & Lineage Ownership: Artisans retain 100% intellectual property, design copyrights, and cultural lineage ownership of their crafts. ELART never replicates, licenses, or mass-manufactures artisan creations.

4.7 Data Privacy & Sovereign Vault (Sri Lanka PDPA 2022): In full compliance with Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA No. 9 of 2022), all artisan personal identification (NIC), workshop documents, and banking coordinates are stored in an encrypted vault solely for authentic verification and secure payout execution.
