You are fully protected in any of the following circumstances.
If your pottery, mask, wood carving, or glass item is broken or chipped upon arrival, it is 100% covered for an immediate replacement or full refund.
Severe defects in craft integrity, cracked wood, broken brass fittings, or defective joints not characteristic of handmade artistry.
If you receive a completely different design, wrong dimensions, or wrong color palette from what was depicted in the artisan studio listing.
Items returned in their original packaging and unused condition within 14 days of delivery are eligible for return or exchange.
Circumstances where returns or exchanges cannot be accommodated.
Handcrafted items inherently possess unique grain patterns, subtle chisel marks, and slight dye variations that prove authentic artisan origin.
Items customized with personal names, bespoke family crests, or made to unique non-standard measurements cannot be returned unless damaged.
Damage caused by dropping, inappropriate washing, harsh chemicals, or exposure to excessive heat after successful delivery.
Return requests initiated more than 14 days after courier delivery confirmation are no longer eligible.

Photograph the craft from multiple angles, including any transit damage or defects, along with the shipping box and label.
Go to Dashboard → My Orders and click 'Request Return / Exchange', or email [email protected] with your photos and order number.
Our team and the artisan studio will review your request within 24 hours to approve a free replacement, return pickup, or full refund.
For approved returns, we arrange a courier pickup directly from your address and immediately dispatch your replacement piece.

We offer a 14-day return and exchange window from the date your order is marked as delivered by the courier. Within this period, you can request an exchange, replacement, or refund.
Every physical craft shipment on Elart is insured against transit mishandling. If your parcel arrives broken, report it within 48 hours with photos, and we will send you a replacement without requiring you to pay any shipping fees.
No. Because each piece is carved or dyed by hand without industrial machines, slight variations in natural wood grain, vegetable dye intensity, and chisel marks are celebrated characteristics of genuine authenticity, not defects.
Once approved, refunds are processed within 2-5 business days back to your original bank account or card. Store credit is issued instantly.
Yes! If you ordered a batik shirt or sarong that doesn't fit, or prefer a different mask variation of equal value, message the artisan through your order page to organize a smooth exchange.
If the return is due to transit damage, defect, or an incorrect item sent by the artisan, Elart covers 100% of return shipping. If returning due to change of mind on an eligible item, domestic return courier fee (Rs. 450) applies.
