1. Islandwide Sri Lanka Delivery
Every product sold on Elart is a physical, authentic handcrafted item created by verified Sri Lankan artisans and studios. We do not sell mass-produced synthetic goods.
- Western Province (Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara): Orders are typically delivered within 1 to 2 business days from the date of dispatch.
- Islandwide Outstation: Deliveries to all other 22 districts across Sri Lanka are completed within 2 to 4 business days.
- Standard Delivery Fee: Flat rate of Rs. 450 per order. All orders over Rs. 10,000 qualify for free domestic shipping.
2. Order Processing & Packaging
Because authentic handmade crafts require attention to detail, handling times may vary:
- In-Stock Crafts: Prepared, quality-checked, and dispatched within 1-2 business days.
- Made-to-Order Crafts: Customized items (such as bespoke wood relief panels, tailored batiks, or personalized brass engravings) may require 3-7 business days for craft completion before dispatch.
- Protective Packaging: Fragile items like terracotta pots, Ambalangoda masks, and lacquerware are packaged with double-walled export boxes and biodegradable cushioning.
3. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched from the artisan's workshop, you will receive an automated notification containing your courier tracking number via SMS and email.
You can track the progress of your shipment anytime at elart.lk/track-order or directly via the courier tracking portal.
4. International Shipping
We deliver Sri Lankan cultural crafts worldwide through DHL Express and Sri Lanka Post EMS. International shipping charges and estimated delivery timelines (typically 5-10 business days) are calculated at checkout based on destination country and parcel weight.
5. Damaged in Transit Guarantee
If an item arrives broken or damaged due to transit, our Transit Damage Protection covers you 100%:
- Please photograph the damaged package and product within 48 hours of delivery.
- Email the photos and your order number to [email protected].
- We will arrange a free replacement directly from the artisan workshop or issue a full refund immediately.
